    Between the Vines Estate Vineyard Tours at Whitman Hill Winery. Break on Through (to the Other Vine) March 26th - May 4th. The arrival of spring gets a lot of attention in terms of phenological events, as one can observe the regeneration of the vegetative cycle in the grapevines through the onset of bud break.  This new cycle emanates from the depths of the earth, where roots begin to absorb water and nutrients, and osmosis forces the sap up from the root system which is expelled from the pruning cuts made during the dormant stage.  This process gives the appearance that the vines are weeping, so we invite you to witness our “dripping buds” and learn about our estate vineyards. We are bursting with anticipation to inform you that the Between the Vines vineyard tours resume for the season through harvest.
