Area Events < Naches River Guided Trips with Red's Flyshop
We offer both float and wade fishing trips on the Naches
depending on the water level. The Naches runs very fast in the early summer, so
the float trip itself is very exciting and worth doing as an eco adventure
itself.
The Naches River is a wild freestone stream that sees
little angling pressure and boasts productive fly fishing for moderate sized
wild trout. Less anglers and a chance to catch native Westslope Cutthroat on
dry flies makes for a memorable adventure! Naches River trout are fat, healthy,
and very very strong. The catch is composed of native cutthroat and wild
rainbows, most of which are in the 10-16" range. The angler to fish ratio
is wonderful and we feel like the overall experience is second to none!
Wade fishing is more productive later in the summer when
river flows are low. This is a great time to wade because there is very little
fishing pressure and the adventure is fantastic.
