Yakima Valley Sports Awards Luncheon - June 5, 2013

Honoring high school athletes, coaches and teams in 20 interscholastic sports, the Yakima Valley Sports Awards Luncheon is annually held in the Yakima Convention Center prior to the end of each school year. Approximately 500 athletes, coaches and fans attend this event.

Yakima Hot Shots 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament - Aug. 24-25, 2013

A record-363 teams participated in the 2010 Hot Shots Tourney, bringing over 7,000 people to the streets of downtown Yakima. Hot Shots is one of the largest 3-On-3 Tournaments in the Pacific Northwest. Visit HotShots3on3.com for more information.

SunDome Volleyball Festival - September 13-14, 2013

Eighty (64 varsity and 16 junior varsity) high school volleyball teams come to the Yakima Valley for this premier event. Pirate Plunder Adventure Race - October 5, 2013

The 2013 year marks the second installment of the Pirate Plunder Adventure Race which is a 4+ mile obstacle course race that combines ever-changing terrain with 15+ obstacles to test your strength, stamina, and love of mud. You’ll climb over walls up to 12’ high, crawl through a 40’ long mud pit, slide down a 30’ water slide, battle through tires, and face many other challenges all while running through a combination of fields, mud, and sand pits!
